Amaizeingly Green Facilities
Amaizeingly Green Products, L.P. has converted a brown field wet mill starch plant that was closed by Nacan in 2005 into a multi product production facility that services many industries. This conversion project involved upgrading the site from just a wet mill to include an enhanced corn handling conveyor system, steep tanks, yeast dryer, numerous environmental upgrades, numerous building upgrades, new boiler room, product load out and storage, and associated structural work. Amaizeingly Green Products, L.P. began production in June of 2007.
Amaizeingly Green Products, L.P.'s manufacturing facility in Collingwood employs 50 people full-time and also employs 200 people indirectly who service, and are serviced by, our plant's operations.
The plant is very important to the local community given the economic impact that it has on it. The plant is the largest corn buyer in the area and purchases $100,000 worth of corn each and every day from local farmers. It also is responsible for feeding 35,000 head of cattle each and every day. Local business relies on servicing the plant with equipment and or services.
